Standing Ovation strives to create a friendly and professional environment where performers can express their talents, technical training, and confidence on the competition stage. 

 

VISION

Our vision is to provide a dance competition that contains a level of professionalism we have not encountered in the dance scene. We plan to stand out above the rest with our dedication to professionalism, timeliness, and approachability. We pride ourselves on providing an upbeat and enjoyable atmosphere while running a timely and fair dance competition.

 

HISTORY

We set out to create a competition that would be all encompassing. With our diverse backgrounds in dance education we knew we would make a great team. Dance has taught us so much more in life than how to do a step ball change. We learned dedication, teamwork, patience, and that hard work pays off! These are all skills that we want to empower each dancer to learn, and Standing Ovation wants to be a part of that journey. Dance has been a part of our lives since we were all little girls and had the dream of becoming professional dancers one day. As our careers pursued we realized that without the competitive dance world and its positive reinforcement, we would not be where we are today. Competitions bring a certain light to dance that no other events are capable of producing and we wanted to be a stepping stone to help other performers have opportunities just like we did. Standing Ovation was created with nothing less than our full hearts and we hope that you leave our competition feeling like family and are encouraged to continue down this journey in the performing arts.
