Standing Ovation is committed to providing dance excellence in a safe and positive environment. We strive on age appropriate material taught throughout our convention classes. Our teachers are professional educators with a vast dance background to inspire and provide growth in many styles of dance.
Registration will be made online and must be paid in full prior to the convention by credit card, studio check, or ACH. No refund or credit will be given for any participant unable to attend. Once convention capacity has been met, registration will be closed. Payments must be made in full to be registered. We will not hold spots. If there is availability the day of the event you can register convention fee plus a late fee and must be paid by cash or credit card only.
All registered participants will be given a wrist band for the convention. Class levels will have specific color wristband and will be picked up by the studio director at the convention registration desk on the day of the event.
Scholarships must be used before the expiration date given. Scholarships can only be used for the awarded dancer and may not be transferrable between studios. Scholarship winners must register online and at checkout must provide the dancer’s name and scholarship code. No refund will be provided for scholarships, only credit for the next season. Scholarship winners will be awarded at the end of the convention during the Standing Ovation Showcase.
Levels : Advanced - recommended ages 15 & up
Intermediate - recommended ages 11-14
Beginner - recommended ages 6-10
*level change at teacher discretion
Teachers - one free teacher per 10 dancers entered
Observer/Parent - observer wristbands can be purchased in advance with studio registration or at the door
Parents are welcome to attend the Standing Ovation Showcase for the last class at no cost. All levels of dancers will perform material taught through the day.
